    How do You Fill?

A few buddies of mine are supremely adamant that all e30s require 91, but everytime I search, I always find that only 318s require 91, but all others run 87 on stock tunes.

So, I want to settle this once and for all: what's is required for stock 325e/i? What gas to you guys fill with?

      It's 2013 bro, not 2012

I usually put 87 in mine, 89 every once in a great while

        87

Even my WAR chip is tuned for 87, as I get better gas mileage with it than 91.

91 because m42. Stock m20's don't need premium gas (and standard green coolant is fine too).
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

My car seems to prefer 87 so I leave my WAR chip set up for that.

91 chipped 325e. 87 octane it runs like shit and bad Mileage.

Idk why, I know it only needs 87 but I put 91 in it.

if chipped 91, stock 87 is fine.

Yeah man.. I know, it's pitiful. I should have a Waaay higher post count
Sometimes I'm ashamed to even log in because I'll see people like George or Nando and I crap bricks...

You guys running 91 on stock; do you guys have idle issues? My idle ALWAYS get rougher if I fill up 91 compared to 87

Your poll is left coast biased. We only have 93 octane premium around here.

My '89 with a stock chip will ping on 87 and some 89 octane fuel. Not sure why, it's done it for the last 8 years and 100k miles.

I generally run 89 from stations i know will not make it ping.

                          Voted 110 octane.

                          S52 swap.

I run only 91. Will run higher if I find it.

89 on stock ecu (red label 413 m50) it pibgs like hell and gets shit mileage on 87.
