    *LOL* @ drivability

Ummm..... the car has 11 miles on it since rebuild? Do you think he DRIVES the car? I'm thinking he built it for race. How many 400hp daily e30's do you see? Let alone 800hp e30's......

hell i'd drive it, scare the shit out of some corvette/mustang owners, lol
If your car isnt breaking, you're not driving it hard enough..

as Carrol Shelby once said "A good driver never experiences turbo lag."

Video of a 480whp+ street driven Civic.

I think he's in the 620whp range now.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about? The scales are different. That makes ALL the difference. The curve will only cross at 5252 if the TQ and HP scales are the same. If you use 400rwhp @ 8500rpm, it translates to the correct HP number.

I duno about that.... I kinda like dyna-packs. While I had my 928, I had probably done a good 10-15 runs on a dynojet (at various times). I got a chance to hop on a dyna-pack for about 15 runs and I really liked it. It seems like a much more flexible machine and better for tuning @ specific loads/rpms.

What don't you like about them?

Theres nothing really wrong with them....im just not a huge fan. They seem to read higher than most dynos and rely more on mathmatical calculations to come up with a power curve than most other dynos. Also silly little things like printing dyno graphs with 2 diff. scales rather than always useing the same scaleing. I personally prefer Superflow's or Mustang dynos where they load the car based on weight input. Dynojets are probably my least favorite tuning wise if you have a light car. IMO if you use a dyno, always use the same one/shop for comparitive data. No dyno will ever be perfect so it pretty much comes down to personal preference. I primarily called dynapacks gay b/c the scaling issue turned into a wasted post having to state the obvious.

He is one huge bag of doosh if he actually thinks he is going to "race" the car with 11 miles on it.... and i have a friend with a 500hp 240 that is his daily driver... point is "IF" done "correctly" there would not be reliability issues and would make a find daily driver - all be it way way faster than a DD could ever dream to need to be

True true. Just think it was built for race is all. No pictures makes it hard to tell...

Interesting... I haven't been on a mustang yet. Are they capable of static load testing?

It's almost as crazy as spending thousands of dollars on BS mods on a tired worn out e30 and documenting it online.

I've seen 500-600 hp hondas around here on the street.

At the streetraces, they spin the tires from start to finish :P
