    xi or no?

Looking to buy a 89 xi should I or not? Not sure, don't know a lot about them

Do a quick search on suspension parts, struts, bushings....that should help you decide, parts can add up quick.

Not much snow in Albany, if I were you I'd spend the money on fixing up your current E30. It's 'ix', by the way.

i love those cars like a red headed stepchild. don't buy a rusty piece of shit, though. expect it to have a bad transfer case. factor this repair into the price. do some research. there is an ix section here and an even better one on e30tech.

No. Or ad $4k to the asking price anticipating transfer case, suspension etc.
Was my first e30. Was almost my last.

I bought a basketcase ix, planning to keep working at it. Would be nice to get to drive it before winter is over
