A previous member sold a 1989 325is last year in exact same factory condition (including brand new parts, not just cleaned ones) for around $9000 or so. I believe his had lower miles too (around 53k or so)


E30s are great, but they aren't made of gold..

I've seen that stealership before. Its based out of Cincinnati and it looks like they specialize in rare and hard to find BMW's AND THEY CHARGE A HEFTY PREMIUM FOR THEM. I can see how they add value though, if you're searching for a mint S54 M-Coupe it could take years to find the one you want. They have it in stock. Very little shit in their inventory. Its fun to look and salivate at the very least.

e30's are on the way up again. Which is good for some. For those with ratted out hoopties, maybe not so much.

As Perry said, there are still deals to be found, but they are getting more and more rare.

I could see this car getting 10k if it is as clean as it looks in those pics.

Chances are, the new owner doesn't do is own work and doesn't hang out on E30 forums too much. But he owned one back in the day, made his million since then and wants another E30. And this is the right car. He'll be looking at this from an entirely different perspective than R3V folks. We might think he's nuts to pay $16k, but yeah, it probably is half what he paid for his 16 year old's first car.

Wow, looks fantastic. I wouldn't pay that much for it, for that kind of money there are a lot of other cars I 'd rather have. I think I'd rather buy a car and put the time and money in myself to make it that nice.
