Just turned 219,000 about a week ago. All stock engine....never rebuilt. Orignal clutch too. Only burns about 1/2 to 1 quart of oil every 3,000 miles. New belts are in its future.

139k. I can almost guarantee that I have the earliest build date though.

            So there.

10/83, bringing the poor thing well over the 20 year old mark.

I bought my '84 318i in 2001 and it had 105k on it. Since then it's been a highway commuter of 150 miles 5 days per week. It's up to 175k now on the chassis, and about 60k on the rebuilt block and head that was dropped in a while back.

                      I had a E30 318i made in 07/83

                      the vincode is WBAAK7104D9113115

                      WBA A(A means 1)K(K means 0)71 04D 9113115

                      The 318i M10 2doors(first look, there are 3 euro looks) begins at 9100000 so mine is number 13115 E30 318i M10
                      and the E30 320i begins at 9115000 and the E30 318i M10 (1gen) stops at 9114760

First ever E30 was made in 02/82 beeing 22years old soon
First ever 323i E30 made was in 06/83
First ever 316 carb E30 was made in 02/83

Lowest E30 vincode I could find was 8620225 made in DEC ยด82

odo broke at 121k..... and on the white one odo broke at 59k

I assume that the black has 150k and the white has 75k by now.

Like a lot of others here.. my odometer stopped a little while back.
I would estimate it at between 177k-179k. Kind of average.

I would get in on this earliest build date contest.. but I don't know when my 84 318 was built. For you vin # decoders.. my vin is WBAAK7408E8418040.
