If all you guys who ponied up for this product were all out hundreds or thousands of dollars EACH, I could more easily accept and understand your vitriol.

Earandil, your posts in this thread are articulate, sensible and well thought out. Very nice to see amongst all the piling on.

^You forgot, the to the majority of baggypants'ers, $100 = ~$1000's. It's like two weeks pay at Subway.

I'm not worried about the volt meter being delivered. I'm sure George will get them sent at some point since he has always delivered in the past. I'm paying for a specialty product made for my 27 year old POS eta that has nothing to do with basic function. I am willing to wait.

I've waited for other custom things made by people on this forum and have never been disappointed. Maybe I am too mellow about these things.

I will stand neutral in my opinions on the matter, but the bottom line is this:

Banning GG will not give customers product or refund.

They don't effect my income, I run a repair shop everyday with 3 employees, I have a pregnant wife and 3 step children. An $85 sale is important to me but its on the smallest end of the scale and sometimes things get in the way.
Step out of your boxes and give him a chance. He will come through or give you guys something else in return for your money.
Keep at it George. Good luck!
I don't want to pile on..............but it's bullshit and you know it.

A few weeks, maybe a month...........but 1 year later and the guy is so strapped he can't issue a refund and disappears for months at a time? How can you operate a business and not have $1k in cash to take care of unforeseen issues?

I'm sorry if George is operating outside of his ability to take care of things financially, but that should not be everyone elses problem.

Seriously, 1 year. That's beyond fucking ridiculous.

You're one of the typical waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffless who is missing the point.

If you ordered something from ANY online retailer, how could a ONE YEAR delay EVER be considered acceptable?

that's bullshit, and you know it. 100 dollars is plenty of cash to me too, it is the point of not receiving something you paid for.

He's not a retailer. He's an enthusiast and from what I can tell, a one man show. As Earandil astutely (and accurately) pointed out already, everyone who signed on to buy one of these not-yet-ready-for-market products was/is an investor.

No one is arguing that more and better communication have been provided by George, including George himself. And as correctly mentioned already, the pitchfork crowd calling for banning him isn't going to solve anything either.

SO I gotta question about the "inspection " light on the SI board.

What happens when you don't reset it? Mine's currently on the yellow light and i'm too lazy to reset it. (done it before, just wanna know what will happen eventually if I dont' reset them).

It's the only trouble (warning) light on my dash when I drive, it kinda livens up the dash cluster a bit at night
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

It will go to red eventually and just stay there.
