My motor mounts were shot so my pan was sitting right on top of my skid plate. So more or less, anything that made contact with my plate transferred straight to my pan. Cracked it vertically on a construction plate on the way to the show on South Orange Ave. a couple blocks away. A guy up the street let me use his shop though and I patched it right up in a couple hours.Leave a comment:

+1i agree with this . Ethier next year the lots need to be rid of the non-e30s (the convertible lot could of fit alot more cars) or it should happen in that huge lot next to guten. I didn't realize such a great little downtown place exsizted so close to guten . I detailed the crap out of my car and drove 4 hours to the meet, only to be out in a lot with like 4 other cars . All the e30s in one huge lot would be really cool.
I think if the weather had held out we would have seen a much greater number of attendees and had a full 'out-cast' lot ;)Leave a comment:

Idk I think if both the upper and lower lot by guten were used it would have been ok. Maybe it was because all the cars were so spread out but it looked like there were less cars than last year.Leave a comment:

It used to be in the big lot next to guten... But we got too big for that lot.

All the e30s in one huge lot would be really cool.I had a lot of fun today, I really like the in-town event. It's a nice change from most other meets in that regard. I understand that multiple lots is just a result of being in a crowded town. However, I was in Lot #2 on the other side of the tracks and my biggest disappointment is that it was pretty much a ghost town over there. I spent a lot of time detailing my car/engine bay over the last few evenings and I was afraid to even leave my hood open because nobody was over there. Just a lot of folks parking to use the train (my car ended up surrounded by non-E30s/BMWs). I think very few show attendees made it to Lot #2.
On a related note, I know I made it to all the lots but I'm seeing a bunch of cars in these pics I didn't see in person today.Leave a comment:

Here are some of mine...don't mind the redundant angle of the cars - I'm still learning with this lens.
