I have been looking for an E30 for a about a month or two. I just know what to pay for one. I have found one that the interior and body look amazing.

just want to know if its a good price. and anything else, suggestions.

also ran its VIN on autotrader it says that on
06/08/2012 the millage is 237,00 but on one of its photos the odometer says 235K.

also was involved in an accident. the owner put clear title in the ad.

and it used to be red. looks like it wasn't painted by a pro. still see the red in a lot of places

    any suggestions

    Thanks
    David

I wouldnt buy a car that is not the original color. Definitely if the paint job is not well done.

      agree
but on the number of e30s iv looked at the interior wasn't as good as this.
and the fact that its a 318is

paint doesn't bother me as much.

If it were me, I'd keep walking, there are better examples for close to a little more than that price.

Not terrible, just check well for shoddy rust repair.

              Edit: prime candidate for lowballing

id keep walking..dont get in a rush and buy the first one u find..it was wrecked so there cld be some damage to the frame that u cant see,u said the paint is cheap,he hints that its probly time for a good tune up,which to me means another good 500 bucks cld also mean its not running right but idk..if you want it just look it over really good and drive it for longer than 5 minutes

Yeah, that looks pretty sketch for $2500. The paint job looks horrible under the hood, and he doesn't mention AC at all, which can't be a good sign.

This. It looks like a shitty paint job overall and probably needs some work under the hood.

As mentioned, the ad has some vague language and omissions that would bother me. Was the car hit in the rear? It looks like the trunk has been replaced at some point or the spoiler was removed and the holes filled when the paint job was completed.

And don't forget to be specific, especially with price. Just a budget can give everyone a good idea of what you should expect.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Around 2500k at the moment. While I handle a speeding ticket. After april 16 ill go up to 3500 (ball park) I don't relly mind a project. If there one that has a bad engine or tranny that's not a problem. Would like to have the interior in good condition, *5 speed* e30. Ill post a wanted ad later currently doing this from my phone.
