my hitch has 2 bolts to the bumper and a semi hoop that wraps around and is bolted to the spare tire well. keep in mind i have a db car so the bolts through the bumper only go through the under side.

Link, I would recommend a yamaha superjet. Stock it's at 750cc and with a couple mods they can be quick as shit. Personally I would get a newer one or early 90's like I have. The early dual carb motor seem to have a lot of issues so I would stay away from those. One of ours is bored to 800cc and has upgraded intake, water box, and pump and its way too fast. Runs about 55mph top speed

Personally I like yamaha because they have more raw power compared to models like 550 or 650sx. The new kawasaki sxr 800 is good, but the older models are too light and underpowered. They are tossable so for doing some tricks they can be good, but are very wobbly. After riding multiple Kawi's and yamahas, I like yamaha. If you want to get a kawi, stick with a 800 sxr and you won't be disappointed. Otherwise I recommend superjets

Alright, where do you look for super jets being sold for reasonable price. I am having zero luck finding anything on craigslist.

I would keep checking CL. One is bound to come as we get closer to summer. There were some for sale late spring last year around Seattle area.

Also check here. It's like the r3v for stand up skis:

i have towed jetskis wth my e30 about 5 years now. i tow 2 kawi 550s. pulls them out of the water just fine. etrailer.com for the hitch, you drill holes in your spare tire well and bumper and bol t it up. hitch costs about 250.

you dont want a 750. you can get a decent squarenose superjet for 1200. yamaha parts are easily available and cheap. link up with shameson and he will point you in the right direction. visit x-h2o.com and scan the for sale section and read threads to gain knowledge. watch craiglist as well.

im still trying to find a hitch to pull my ski.

heres another pic of an e-30 towing a ski.

i want to get this hitch for mine http://www.ebay.com/itm/180934745763
