I might buy it even though it means setting me back more than I want. I miss having a coupe, and I want a car with no rust for once. I have lots of parts to de-rice it and make it nice.

What's this e30 worth?

Considering that it has a shit black over red paint job and a rice body kit, I'd pay like $800.
edit: Maybe it isn't a spray-over, other than the hood. That engine bay scares me.
Also, that mileage is bullshit because the cluster in there is from an ETA. jesus.sigpic

Also, I think the only thing that is red is the hood insulation.

Things are different here than in cali where there are more rust free, running and driving e30's. There's a lot of this here: http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/cto/3709565295.html
If the mileage is true and the body is clean, it's worth more than $500...

Actually, at like 5th glance those taillights look like they could be early model tails. It's hard to tell, but I thought it looked like a late model ass-end.
Yeah, its an early model. So my assumption was wrong.

I'm willing to bet everyone who says this car is worth like $500 is from Cali. On my original search for an e30 a couple of years ago I learned a few things. One being: Cali has some CHEAP cars. Cars are seriously dirt cheap out there. It's NUTS. Cali guys: cars are not valued the same in the rest of the country. In the Great Lakes region you will not find a running e30 for under $1000. If you do it will be rusted to hell or have a dead hobo in it. I remember I test drove one I saw on the Internet. I think they were asking $1500 and there were no brakes (no I'm not kidding) and the engine bay had rusted back to mother earth.

That car has some seriously ghey shit done to it. However, since I grew up in michigan, I can quantify the value of a rust free car. if indeed that one is, in your area it is worth pretty close to what he is asking for it on that simple fact alone.
As you know, it is pretty much a guarantee the miles are not accurate. I say offer about 1700 or so, get a parts car to replace all the stoopid stuff, sell off the said stoopid parts on ebsy and recoupe several hundred bucks. Win-win if you ask me.
Ps: I know stoopid is really spelled stupid. That is meant to be a political statement about the owner.
Pps: I want me some founder's porter.Last edited by flyboyx; 04-19-2013, 05:52 AM.sigpic
