Agree with everyone else...stay away from your insurance company! I hit a dear in my 98 cobra at the time with the condition before I hit it it was worth approx. 10-11k. Luckily, when I traded it in at a dealership, they were sooooo eager to have it on their lot they didn't see it had a salvage title from the dear accident. I was able to trade it out, but a week later I came by to finish up the paperwork and they were pissed to all hell. They had to sell the car for 2k less than what they gave me because of the title. Moral of the story...stay away from insurance companies and waffle a dealership over if you can.

Yeah, California and Texas are lightyears apart when it comes to laws like that... They salvaged my buddies car that just needed a fender and headlight replaced. No frame damage, no structural damage, struts were straight and intact no movement, just had a bs estimate and appraisal from the other parties insurance and wham bam.
Went to sell the car and it was salvage. Title sat in a folder in his house the whole time till he tried to sell.
Its kinda like how if you get caught with an ounce of weed in Cali they slap you on the wrist, but in Texas you get caught with even a half ounce and they take you straight to jail + 3 yr probation due to their zero tolerance law.

Appreciate the response guys. I talked to my buddy who owns a body shop. He said its fixable, just need to get a front clip and weld it. I thought of getting another shell and swap all the parts, but I think I'll spend as much as fixing it. And no, I don't have anymore pictures of Bambi. On the other hand, he shit himself before he died like that one episode from South Park.
More pictures of the damage:
And what keeps me busy, while the E30 is down.
