Install R.Dynamic kit OR get some tunes in e30 vert

My cabrio is where I want it to be for the summer season
    My budget for the rest of the season will allow me to do one of two things;

    A) have Racing Dynamics body kit installed/painted

    Or

    B) get some bumping stereo finally in the car to cruise with (likely lukebox or similar, nothing mental)

Budget is about 800-1000 for either one.

Both will get done, just one will be now, the other next year.

    What would you do?

get the stereo system dialed in. body kit will not make cruising around any more fun, just makes for good pictures.

If the body kit includes getting rid of those ugly ass bumpers, then I vote body kit.

Tunes rule. Body (cosmetics) should be the last mod.

Body kit because it will look so good and you will survive without tunes.

                    Tunes first, cosmetics later.

Do Luke's $500 stereo build now, put the rest towards kit over winter. I just redid mine with lukebox, component fronts, and 5 channel amp. Couldn't be be happier.

Do you spend more time driving your car or looking at it?

I'm a DJ and I'm more about making my e30 a driving experience, music makes the experience I find.

Sadly, I rarely drive the e30...it's a garage queen, hence why I'm also on the fence of just throwing the body kit on.

It's gonna be stereo tho...gonna be tough to make it work in a vert tho...dynamat+lukebox should make it rumbly and tight.

The only sound deadening you might need are for random isolated rattles. This is one of the huge benefits to the Lukebox design.

                              Body kit.

The only sound you should enjoy in a vert is the rattles, creaks, and wind-noise. Otherwise, you lose the essence of the vert.
