    nice find if it does turn out that way, what car did you find it in? Maybe m42's had a similar tool? Just spit balling never owned an M42 car...

      the weird thing is we found it in the back of a E38 i think with BMWCCA stickers on it but the spark plug tool in the e38 doesn't look like this

        huh Maybe the guy owned an s14 and daily'd a e38...Either way cool stuff all around for A: finding a tool at the yards and B:finding a rare tool at the yards :rofl:

          we found to of the little trunk spanners too, which was kinda cool, yeah for all the times we've been to yards thats the only car with tools in it we've ever found

                        That is not the s38 or s14 spark plug tool. It is a M62 tool from a X5, e39 or e38. I have this same one, as well as a s14 tool, the s38b35 and b36. They are all different but yours is for a M62
