People worship 318iS's and they are usually as much if not more expensive than 325i's.

If you're spending <$2.5 and want the best condition possible, 84-85 318i or any year of 325/325e is your best bet. Any $2.5K 318is would probably be pretty rough.

Just get a 325i, eta guys want them and 318iS guys want them but they won't admit it. All E30's get more or less the same gas mileage.

Not in my case. I really like the M42.

I don't think that there is a difference in the numba of doors... just getting in is little more tricky...

fuck that, no 318is gets 14 mpg around town driven hard. But yeah, get yourself a 325es and later a 323i head (731 casting head) and you'll have yourself a nice 327is..
