The M3 Coupe Is Officially Dead

Not really much to say here but the coupe and the convertible will be going towards the 4-Series as M4 while the M3 remains as a sedan, pretty sad to see something like this drops, anyone with an M3 coupe better hang on to them! Whats your guy's input about this move?

It's a sad day. The last E92 BMW M3 Coupe has rolled off the production line. That doesn't only mean it's the end of the current M3 Coupe, it's the end of the M3 Coupe forever.

Next year, the 3-Series coupe will be replaced by the 4-Series, as BMW continues its new tradition of naming coupes with even numbers and sedans with odd numbers.....

Also meh. I couldn't care less what BMW decides to do with itself anymore.

This. Haha, but I do think M4 is one of the dumbest things BMW will ever do. Why change the name of one of the most legendary sports cars ever?

Good question - I wondered this as well. 25 years of a successful product and racing pedigree....only to ditch it and re-name it the M4. I can hear the marketing spin now. "This new car is so much better in every way, it was worthy of a new desigation."

                  Whatever *rolleyes*

Problem is, as time goes on, I'm liking BMW less and less. Cars from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s personify what BMW is really about. At least that's my opinion.

This! My love for BMW is just no longer there, driving one doesnt really mean anything anymore

I guess they want to expand to more people, some marketing strategy theyre trying to do

M3 Coupe is what really got the flow going for most, I already miss the days back when the name "M3" actually means something

Mentioned to someone that you drive an "M3" jaws drop, now n days its not like that

This, exactly. The real problem is I don't know where to turn. I guess it's e30 forever!

Pretty retarded that they would shift the 3-series to strictly sedans/wagons. Only a matter of time before BMW comes out with the "435i Gran Coupe"...then I would like to see them explain that one without admitting it's a 3 series sedan.

I saw a 4 door 6 series yesterday and holy crap that thing is a whale (it was even white ) There was nothing good looking about it. The rear seats looked like an afterthought, after they stretched the car.

I don't care a bit about what BMW does these days. They produce ugly (like everyone else) cars that are absolutely boring to look at, heavy, and do not elicit any sort of excitement whatsoever. The only thing I care about is that they continue to stock parts for the older stuff.
