i wish they would have made that m3ti 300hp rwd small hatch! that is not a hot hatch that is a molten hot hatch! that would have been awesome 0.0 i know i know just engine swap but from the factory would have been amazing!

Remember reading it in Performance BMW or was it BMW car, but you are correct in that train of thought.

Eh it's pretty cool but all E31's are kind of porkers. Awesome car to take a long distance highway road trip in but not the same small, tossable feeling as an e30 or even an e36. I passed one up and down AMP at a lapping day in my then 4 cyl. powered e30.

So your saying you would rather have a 318is at a track day than an 8 Series with 550hp from a V12?!

You sir are smoking the goooooooood shit!!

you're probably right, I mean they DID lap the Nurburgring in less than 8 minutes with that motor IN A X5! Im sure it wouldnt be a good track car ....

Nope. I did auto-x off and on with my now sold 07 GTI (290ishfwhp). Open dif fwd FTL! lol

I'm wondering if you read the info on the M8. Two M3 blocks welded together for 550hp. Tipped the scales at between 3100-3300lbs....

Just a little different than the 8 series you passed.

compact m3 would of been dope. Good thing these cars are more than just for track days.

That e34 m5 vert would have sold like hot cakes, the proportions are fantastic, It looks slightly better than e30 verts actually

DTM mirrors, Evo seals, the smooth hood sans pop-ups. That M8 is bad ass.
