Yes, it looks dorky. Yes, you'll die if you get hit by a truck. But for the money and fuel economy, this thing would be hard to beat for those of us who have longer commutes. Interesting.

I've had plenty of fun on bikes. Hard to commute on one though for some of us. Riding in rain sucks.

Still just as dorky, no performance or practicality advantage, half the gas mileage, and twice the price. Smart indeed.

Still a hairdresser's car, and a third the fuel economy. Costs 4 times as much.

Automotive handbag. Like a Smart, but slightly better looking. Faster, but expensive.

I'd take the E30 when I actually wanted to drive. But as a secondary vehicle, this seems to fill a gap in the market nicely.

All good points. Even if it's not the most fuel efficient I'll still keep on commuting in my E30. Every time I drive it it makes me smile and that's worth more than a few dollars.
