Never broken a pan. I've scraped through a few and dented the shit out of one, but never broken.

The only pan I ever broke was an m42 lower section after hitting some black ice and going over a curb. I've been driving on H&R race with 15mm drop hats and an e34 pan on my m50 without a skid plate for a year, no issues. I drove this car all around Nova Scotia, through Maine, NH, NY, Jersey with no problems. It's really not that hard. For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!Originally posted by mbonanniI hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.

Never have broken a oil pan driving e30's with m20 2.5/or 2.7/or a m42 in 13 years bro. All mild to moderate lowering suspension wise.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

At least M42 pans are silly easy to replace. The lower portion, anyway.

That is a perfect example of what not to do. Even with a skid plate you can't drive it in to the ground daily and expect it to last. By the looks of this plate it took a lot of beating. Its almost flat for god sake.Custom Made Skid Plates For Sale.

i am not faulting you since i didn't do any of this hillbilly engineering nor did i wreck the car. i hope you don't get that impression.
the car was slammed on cut lowering springs. it was so fucking low that the pan was literally about 2" above the ground. if it wasn't for this bullshit, i would have never ended up with the car. its a 770 code mtech 2 btw.
maybe you have guessed, i am not a fan of slammed suspension.sigpic
