So who's going to be the first one to do a motor swap of this into an e30? ;)

So....environmentally friends cars use wood? I guess it's sustainable bamboo or something.

They should have gone more "Tron" with it... Like....

I like it for all the technology and advancements they made with this car, it's a complete carbon fiber car for under $50k. Now they will just start making cars lighter to increase efficiency.

Going to be a hard sell. Less range then other electrics and twice the cost.

Totally agree. Mass production of carbon fiber cars is really exciting, but if you're gonna go that route - I'd take the Alfa 4C.

I don't hate the styling as much as everyone else seems to. It succeeds in its goals as a small urban vehicle, with a large interior volume. It definitely avoids the cardinal sin of being boring - and I actually like the DLO. I'd much rather see these on the street than a goddamn Aztek.

it's fugly, but the tech is pretty cool.

gotta love the haters! I could drive to work all week on a 100 mile charge.

also, $40,000 for an electric car is not that expensive - especially one built out of carbon fiber, by BMW, that's RWD and not slow as a Prius driven by an 80 year old man. It's only real competition is Tesla, which is almost twice the price.

They've got something good going on. I really wanna test drive one to see what it feels like.
