don't be mad guys, that's what I did while I was looking for spacers.
let me tell you one thing.
you can drift better.
okay, on a serious note. I don't think they put an E46 front valence on, on purpose. I seriously think they thought that it was the right valence for that model.
I'm sure the car would look good from say.............ten miles away

I don't think that e36's look good from any distance. To me it's just the bastard child of an e30 and an e46.
Why? Not that I would do it... but I dont understand why it is certain death... please elaborate...
Washers don't have a uniform flat surface and aren't intended to hold a certain measure of torque when stacked up like they are in the pic. What that means is they will shift, loosen, and eventually the wheel will/can come off. Also they look like regular hardware washers. These always have some variation in thickness so there's no way the wheel is sitting flat relative to the hub.
Any of you guys notice the huge difference in fender gap when comparing the left and right front wheels/fenders. One side has like a 2 inch gap between the fender lip and the tire, the other side has absolutely no gap.
-"spacers"
-lob-sided car/stance
-wrong bumper cover
-awful fitment
-incomplete assembly
-no paint
-still damaged front driver door
That car must be awesome to drive. $8k.. I'm as speechless as the next guy.
The spray painted hood doesn't excit eme either. For $8k you have to be an uneducated idiot cuaght up in the moment of the suaction like so many people on ebay do. As for the washers, That is jsut plain STUPID! Ther is no way any qualified repair shop would repar a car like that. This thing was butchered in someones backyard who didn't give a crap about anybodies safety in mind.
BTWE: You better be wearing those harnesses when the wheel falls off!

pretty much what redhatpat said. Washers arent going to be very exact. And even if you put the same amount of washer on each lug (looks like about 10) some will end up being spaced a bit different. Basically the whole car probably shakes violently as the person drives, and eventually the washers will cause the bolts to come loose and wheels fall off. Ive seen a wheel come off a car because of an actual wheel spacer, I couldnt imagine using washers from menards..
on the brightside i found a new sigline:

Also, for those who don't know, negative camber is the greatest thing since sliced bread(panera). Even tire wear is for city busses and the elderly.
ofcourse... I guess I wasn't thinking about the centrifical torque put on wheels... or the fact that washers aren't perfectly flat or all even... thanks for the clarification...
