Give me an idea of what this e30 is worth?

Might pick this up, but not trying to over spend on it. Haven't gotten the chance to look at it in person but hopefully it is all in good cond like the pics look. I don't have quite as good of an eye for detail like some member on here though. Based on the info provided what price range is reasonable to pay foe this?

1987 BMW 325e E30 series 2 dr, 5 spd manual, factory sunroof. Red exterior, black vinyl seats.
Includes Dinan performance chip, adds about 20 to hp and torque w/premium gas. Easy to switch out chips. (this true?)

Alpine CDA 9825 receiver, Infinity rear deck speakers, power antenna
Tires great condition - Pirelli snow tires
Needs new brake pads
Mileage approximately 160,000 miles
A/C broken
New muffler

I think between $1,800-$2,400 maybe $2,500 no more. It's a very well cared for example though. Eta and no a/c not so good, well depends on what your intensions are with the car. Its a nice find either way.

mine was almost exactly like that except my paint is kinda pink on the top with no AC but also an ES i payed $1400 total.

Honestly, prices are different everywhere. But like everyone else said, I'd agree with the previous comments of about 2.5k due to eta, diving boards, and no ac. but it looks very well kept.

I've seen clean examples like that going for over 3k. It really all depends on what the seller bases his value of the car on.

I would say the owner should get 3k easily for that clean of a car,, more $$$ if their willing to wait it out. Eta or not clean, rust free, ding free, no cracks in dash, well cared for e30's are far and few between,,,,,espc if the owner has maint records.

That's exactly the type of car I would look for, not the eta per say, but all original with nothing to hide.

bahh, just an update I called the guy soon as I seen it and he called me back to let me know someone was coming to get it at 7am the next morning... :(
