I'm not sure if you meant this .. but you know Manta is an Opel and Opels come from Germany? The car really is from Sweden (for example, the plates are swedish), and I'm pretty sure it was modded there. At least the owner doesn't mention anywhere on the site that it was built in Finland, he actually mentions only swedish companies in the thankyou-section (Övrigt->Tack till). His name also sounds very swedish. :)Originally posted by slammed_e30I know the Manta is from Sweden but the car Is not a stock Manta now is it, the guy that modded the car is Finnish.
Damn, check out the Bilder->Byggbilder-section, the guy for example made his own ITB's. That's actually pretty smart and simple system with flatslide-throttles.Comment

That's an A-model Manta. I actually saw one today on my way to school, they are very nice cars even in stock configuration. Too bad they have the CIH-engines, not good for power. Nothing that can't be cured with a turbo, though.. But you're right, they still have the wrong roundel.

What's an CIH engine?
I know a guy with an A Manta it has a 1200 engine like the Corsa/Nova
I thought they were called Kent engines

CIH=Cam In Head.. I *think* CIH's are ~1.9l or bigger, I actually didn't know they put those small 1.2 engines in Mantas, that's crazy! My friend bought a parts car, an Opel City Kadett with the 1.2.. It was a cute little engine.
The exhaust was propably close to 1" in diameter! That car is now getting a 2.4l CIH engine with ITB's and whatnot.
Kent-series engines are Ford's little (<1.6) pushrod-engines, I have no idea what the little Opel engines are called..Comment

the 1.2 and the 1.3S engine were very common in Belgium here due the high taxes on engines above 2.0L
