Thats exciting, crazy to see the small bars of the only e30s left. Which is only a fraction among the entire production line of the 80s.

Hmm, it doesn't really discuss part availability or the possibility of reproducing parts. I just got the metal cover that protects the battery cable that goes in the passenger rear wheel well. When the guy looked it up there were only around 55 of those left in the states. I'm sure that there are more than 50 of those 88,000 e30s that need that part and I can't imagine that they have thousands upon thousands sitting in europe. When those run out, are they going to make more? What about other currently NLA parts?

Where'd you get that document? Don't know that the lawyers at BMW are too happy with their confidential docs floating around

Currently without an e30. Will probably die soon.

This is great, maybe some parts will come back from being NLA for last few years and certain people will stop hoarding them at hiked up prices for new old stock.

Not sure how long this has been on BMWs site but looks like they already made it known to the general public

So there are as many E36s as there are all other classic UIOs combined. Sounds like adding it to the portfolio in 2015 is a little soon, no?

They are following the business model of Mercedes and Porsche.
                            How this works is
Consolidate slower moving (classic) parts inventory into a seperate area or facility
Parts price mark-up to mind-bending levels.
                            Slower shipping times.
Market it like it's a good thing (it's not.)
NLA parts will stay NLA, it's unlikely that they will reproduce anything
