A friend linked me that, I was like "Joke's on you buddy, I've never driven my BMW." Then I cried for 15 minutes.

On a serious side note, I agree with slammin.e28 about minivans being the worst. It's like they have nothing left to lose or something.

MAN, I am going to fucking throat punch the next person who tells me about this.

Everyone at work has gone one by one to tell me and laugh about it. I'm like really!? I drive a Rover anyways.

How does the old joke go.

"Whats the difference between a porcupine and a BMW? The porcupine has the pricks on the outside."

        I submit for consideration.

1 There may be more BMWs on the road. It is a sought after car and has enjoyed consistent sales.

2 BMW drivers as a whole, do seem to seek out the marque because they like to drive, hence an certain decreased patience.

3 Pedestrian safety is a given. No one should be at risk.

4 Get the hell outta the left lane so I can pass. Idiot!

5 An example of item 4 supporting item 2.

I like to keep my car in/close to the power band and I don't like having to brake when I don't have to because it wastes gas... Fuck me, right?

Why is it opposite for me, whenever I drive the E30, which honestly the exhaust is a little noisy but not ricey, everyone floors it past me like I want to race, and I always get stuck behind soccer mom texting and slamming on the brakes every 3 seconds because she panics.

To be honest some days I can be the prick, drop a gear and fly past someone lol.

I tend to notice the frequency of this increases every time a new Fast and Furious flick comes out, but I got the same thing.

Now that I live in Wyoming and primarily drive a FJ Cruiser, not as much, but if my new e30 comes to fruition this week we'll see if that changes. I doubt it considering most folks in Wyoming drive 10 below.

E30 drivers are a very small subset of the overall BMW driver population.

When e30s were new, I remember thinking that any male driving one was obviously a yuppy prick. These days, I think of most e30 drivers as discriminating and intelligent.

                          SUV drivers often pushy narcissists

Oddly, just hours before my wife sent me the BMW drivers article (Thanks Dear!), I was reading this: SUV drivers often pushy narcissists:

                          [URL="http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/opinion/analysis/suv-drivers-often-pushy-narcissists-219525741.html"]
Article says "Drivers of SUVs are much more apt to be impatient, involved in accidents caused by impatience, speed in suburbs and school zones, engage in angry tailgating, and yell, swear and gesture rudely to other drivers, the Australian statistics show.

Curiously, preliminary information also suggests drivers of black cars tend to have aggressive personalities"

My DD is black, my '86 E30 is not black.
Should I buy a black X3 and let my personality out?

Old BMW and new BMW culture are nothing alike, I cannot see my self driving anything past an E30, coming from E9s and E12s... That study must have seen more newer crap like the Bangle specials...
