              Did BMW sale the touring E30 in Canada? I ran into a guy at a car show that had one and he told me he bought it in Canada and just drove it back to the US with no problem.

                They were never offered new in Canada, however our importation laws are a little more relaxed. Instead of waiting for the 25 yrs, we only need to wait 15. Quite a few tourings running around here, especially on the west coast.

                  it can be, but if you find one thats an 88 you dont have to worry about storing it. just shipping. also if it was cheap every guy that wanted a wagon would be doing it and they wouldnt be as special.

                        I'd like a Touring, I'd even pay, but I figure an RHD in LHD land moves the decimal point one place to the left.
                        Just not worth it.
                        FWIW,my insurance company wanted to be re-assured that my Serbian E30 wasn't RHD, so maybe they've noticed that RHD in LHD land is Not Smart.
