When completely stock, my insurance company valued the touring at 15k. I tend to agree with the 15k price tag, depending on the goodies you have on/with the car. Tourings in NA are rare, let alone one with a desirable swap already done.
I hope you get 30k for it and set a benchmark for mine :POriginally posted by nl328i View PostThis.
It has been legal to import them to Canada for a few years now, and apparently there are only about 15-20 country wide.
Where do you get your numbers fromThere are probably almost that many tourings just in BC, and they sell for about the same price as normal E30s, maybe just a little more if they are 25 YO by build date as they can easily be imported to the US. Your car must be extremely clean to be valued at 15k.

the 15-20 numbers? I was talking to a few guys on a Canadian bmw forum that have tourings, plus a few dealership service guys when I was doing research on mine.
Apparently the BMW dealership in Vancouver keeps a few e30 touring specific parts on hand because there are 3 or 4 in the area.
If you are questioning the value that the insurance company came up with, you'd have to ask them haha, although the appraiser said it was one of the cleanest e30s he has seen in person (hard to keep them clean in the east coast salty air).1976 2002, 1987 325is, s50 1991 touring, 1996 328i vert

+ 1 the more readily available the less rare it will be.
lets not forget its a limited market, everyone says they LOVE the wagon but i really dont see anyone spending 12-15k+ for one over an E30 M3 for that price.
again for reference just look at the one that sold a little over a year ago with the euro s50 with all the bells and whistles for just under 10k and it was for sale for about 6 months if i remember correctly.
so yea people can SAY they want one and would pay top dollar but when it comes down to brass taxes......Last edited by M3TROY; 08-23-2013, 11:18 AM.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
