Anyone knows Member ‘bmwmech1’ (Garey) ?

Hello Members,

Does anyone have any news from the Member ‘bmwmech1’ (Carey)?

His last post in the forum is quite a long time, but maybe somebody happen to know him personally or maybe lives/works close to Garey….

I a member in local scale community and I guy is presenting a work completed by Garey as it his own.
So I just searched in Google and found that bmwmech1 (Garey) seems to be a great guy with very interesting projects both in 1/1 and scale cars and has posted his work in several forums (however with no recent activity…)

My intention is to reveal the truth, that is that the real manufacturer of the work is Garey and not the guy that posts images stolen from Garey’s post.
And what would be the best way to do this?
Garey to post and reply to this guy in the community…

I would highly appreciate if anyone could help.

I am sure that Garey has much more important things to do this period,
but would die to see what the guy would tell if Garey could post a fresh image with his work
and said to him ''Are you still claiming that this is your work ??!!''

Everybody else... Sorry for the hiatus. When we bought the house last year, I had no idea it would be an all consuming ordeal, but it has been. Not in a bad way, as I enjoy the work, but it has literally sapped every free moment of time I've had since last September. Sadly, I had not touched the E30 since last July until this past Thursday... I hooked up the trickle charger to let it charge over the weekend. No promises of a speedy conclusion to the build, but I have made enough progress on the house that I can actually look ahead to working on the E30 again.

I have only been on r3v maybe twice in the last year, so again I apologize to all who were left hanging and appreciate the concern from all who were concerned. Everything is good with the wife, now 3 daughters and everything else. My oldest starts school in 2 weeks, my youngest just turned 1 last week and I have 10,000 more gray hairs, but all is well. Maybe I'll get this damn E30 done in the next 12 months... the house will take at least 5 years to finish, so I'm in no hurry where it's concerned.

Yeah, I don't know what made me drop in... When I saw the "Does anyone know member...? title, I though hmmm, I wonder if that's someone looking for me... not in a conceited way, but just knowing I had left things kind of wide open... when I opened the full post and saw he was looking for me I was shocked... Weird... but cool...

Yeah, it really did get in the way in this case... At some point, I'll post some photos of the house and the work I've been doing... just so everyone can see I'm not B.S.-ing, lol!
