What to do with broken wheels....

Soooooo. I bought a car here from another forum member (PZCABBY) in the spring. The car came with Kopi Alpina reps...previous owner said that the tire had a flat spot but after driving the car to Canada and getting the wheels looked at, it turns out that they are actually cracked.....

So, what should I do? Getting them fixed properly will cost me more then a new set of reps....any good art/creative ideas? Coffee table? If I junk them, I'll get $25 per....not much....

Post your ideas....maybe the heaviest wall clock ever made? lol.

mount it to the wall about waist high then mount your favorite fleshlight in the center hole? gives a "hole" new meaning to those of us that "love" alpina.

are the cracks on the front or back? if they are on the back, just have it/them welded up, put them back on the car and drive happily ever after. basically, what you are saying doesn't make a whole lot of sense. usually cracks wouldn't cause what could be construed as a vibration based on your description. maybe we could give you better advice if you post pics so we know what you are talking about.

I should add that they are also bent. Local company wants $125 per wheel to fix bent and another $100 to weld them. Ouch. I'll add pictures later when I get home.

go have them welded at a welding shop that does aluminum tig for 30.00-40 each. then shop around for other shops that fix the bends. i checked on this a while back around my area. there was a place that charged about 75.00 a wheel to straighten.

are all 4 bent? are all 4 cracked? that would be incredible if that were the case.

Welding something like a wheel can be a bit... less that trivial... sometimes...
