It could get you my late model. And still have coin left to swap out to 5spd.

You could even make a fl vacation out of it... If you play golf I can get you on some great tracks around here free of charge and very exclusive courses.

You could probably find a decent MTII car in that range.

Ok it looks like you can get a get really nice car in that range, but i really want an early car in standard configuration ( no mtech or other rare parts) just a run of the mill diving board car that is as close to showroom quality as possible.

You could do a reverse bumper swap. Clean all original and unmolested car here.

Seriously though good luck. Should be able to find what your looking for around $5k I would think unless you want low mileage.

Yes ultra low miles, no rust, perfect interior, complete maintence history since new is what im looking for. I am currently in the military, and because of that i havent the time, tools or a place to do swaps or any kind of build. I want a mint condition turn key car. I made this thread because i was so far out of the loop on the market value of these cars, i wanted to ask people who know.

                          Or this 90 325ic with a S52 5 speed. not affiliated

The time has come for me to sell this fantastic car. I get compliments every time I drive this car from people, old and young! It is a 1990 BMW 325IC with roughly 234k miles and no rust on the body or frame. I swapped out the m20 engine and replaced it with a 97 m3 (s52) with 106k miles at 228k miles. The previous owner had all the body work done before I bought the car over 1 years ago.

The interior is in great shape. The original leather seats are not cracked, although, the driver seat does reclined, due to broken base. It also has no cracks on the dash. It has an OEM black rag top that is in excellent condition. I also have an OEM hardtop that will come with the car if asking price is met.

The exterior looks fresh for being over 23 years old. It has been repainted. Antenna and third brake light has been shaven. The paint is not in perfect condition though. There are some light scratches that mostly can be buffed out. The paint around the fenders are starting to chip due to fender being rolled. The front lip is chipped and paint is flaking. The driver side head lamp glass is cracked, but does not affect performance.

Here are the list of mods:

                          Engine/Drivetrain:
                          97 S52 converted to OBD-I with roughly 112k miles
                          TRM chip
                          TMS under drive pulley kit
ebay headers with custom piping to SuperSprint muffler
ZF transmission with Z3 short shifter
                          UUC lightweight flywheel
                          M5 performance clutch
                          brand new driveshaft
                          3.25 lsd

                          Suspension:
M3 steering rack with new tie rods
                          Ground Control coilovers
16" authentic BBS RS wheels (filled and re-drilled to 4x100)
                          stud conversion
also have a set of OEM 14" basketweave with studded snow tires driven for only 1 season

I'm looking to sell everything, including the wheels and hardtop, for 13500 or best REASONABLE offer. I am willing to sell for it less, minus hardtop and BBS. If you have any more questions, email/text is the best way to contact me.

Someone will know someone looking to sell I'm sure espc as most northerners are getting ready to store thier cabbys in the next few months.... For your budget you ought to be able to score a hard top as well.
