She likely dozed off while it was cool and either suffocated/passed out due to lack of oxygen or woke up and died of dehydration as the heat crept up.

i know on an e30 i have kicked a windshield out in the junk yard no problem.

another idea is the sunroof, lay on the seat and kick it threw, done that also.

No lie, I had lock myself in my e34 before. The Central locking system was being stupid so I had to use my key, turn the ignition and the door finally unlock.

is the e34 locking system tricky? back in highschool, there was a couple i knew that locked themselves in and couldn't get out. they were panicking and calling friends (basically everyone but their parents) because they couldn't get out since the battery died when they were screwing around in the back seat

I was thinking about how he's going to feel bad for the rest of his life, but in all honesty he did some dumb shit that caused this to happen. Then again, it's easy to point fingers, but if he got to school around 6:30am it was probably pretty cold, and he wouldn't have thought to roll the windows down.

Brother probably had no idea the doors double lock and can't be unlocked from the inside.

I locked myself in one once, short in the trunk wiring meant instant double lock upon key off. Had to turn on ign, roll down window, and unlock door with spare key.
