He has been tracked down and spy on. Its been planned I'm sure. They probably think its the real BBS, which will bring in huge cash. Honestly, buy some lock if you have some nice wheels. Hope op get his wheel back.

More like false sense of security. The cheaper wheel locks are easily bypassed in seconds, it so easy you might as well wipe your ass with that 20. The more expensive wheel locks are actually pretty ingenious but 135$ will only buy you a few minutes before band ding ow and thats all she freakin wrote.

True story. I worked at a dealership where vehicles would come in missing the 'key' to the locking lug nuts all the time. They take an extra few seconds to remove... As long as it took to walk to and from my tool box. Plus, anybody can order master sets from manufacturers.

              Agreed!

There is way too much of this in every automotive 'community'. It sucks that we can't have nice things!

Which is why I stick to my curbed up, dull 90's wheels. They aren't going to be good craigslist bait.

                Least they were reps...jk!

Yeah. Wheel locks just piss thieves off, end up taking it out on ur car. They will get what they want.

Looks like they were nice enuf to leave it on bricks tho seriously...my friends wheels got jacked, they dropped his car down onto the rotors..and it mussta been hard because 2 of them broke. and then his oil pan hit the ground and cracked as well.

Best advice...... Get a garage. And/or a dog. Put a "fake" camera up near your car...it fucks with their head.

Just leave the car exactly where it sits.... The thieves will return the wheels when they realize that they are ESMs and not BBS. They might even be a little pissed off since they lost some perfectly good wooden blocks.

Not really. I have removed so many wheel locks for customers who lost the key, I have made a small fortune out of it.

Not hard at all after you've been in the auto trade for a year even. That said, no I will not go into detail.
