I just joined this forum that my buddy told me about, im new to this but i've always been into BMW's. About 2 weeks ago i picked up a 86 325es that needs a little work but im going to be doing a rebuild with it over this upcoming winter. I'm located in connecticut and i've been around bmw's my whole life. My brother has a 09 335i coupe and my parents drive a e46 325i and i finally got my hands on a white e30 which has always been my dream car. It is a 5 speed and has a 325i swap with a iS rear end in it. I bought it for cheap and actually a guy that i've known for years. When they did the swap they never swapped the pin and their was a problem where the harness practically melted, so my buddy and i are getting it running within 2 weeks or so. It's a project car but the car doesn't have any rot or rust! The car has H&R springs with bilstein shocks and sits alright for stock wheels. My plans that will come very shortly are BC Coilovers, XXR Rep wheels, Hx35 turbo set up (Winter project). Pictures will be up soon!
