        Ever since the 4.3 came out in 1985, they all been called Vortec. Carburetor, TBI, SCPI, MPFI... I've had each one but the carburetor 4.3. And in a 4wd they aren't that fast. And since the op stated the guy broke his transfer case. Then we know its a 4wd. Now the 2wd would give an e30 a run for its money.
