I went from an 84 318i to a 98 323iC. Looked awesome, bright red, 5 spd conv, but wasn't half as fun as my e30. Hence thats why I have an 87 325iS now with my Jeep :) Good luck with the e36. Reliable, but be prepared to reglue your door panels back together every 6 months or so, and no, epoxy dosen't really solve the problem :)

E30 for lyfe. Seriously. I just don't like all the electronic bullshit that comes with the newer cars. And you can't get that "connected" feeling when even the throttle is electronic...

Joey, that damn alarm is WAY more than $500, call Car-Toys...they charge somewhere around $150 for door LED's alone!
I won't call you a weenie. I will give you MAXIMUM shit after you come crawling back wanting your cheap, fast, fun little beauty back.
Advice? (not like you asked, but you do know me) buy an E34 on the cheap and fix it up.
Lemme know if I can help. You gotta come and see my shop anyway.

Wow Luke, I didn't know that. If the insurance quote comes back reasonable you can bet I'll be paying you a visit as soon as I find my new vehicle.
BTW I updated the pics in the first post. I was able to take some new ones today. The car still really needs an exterior detail, then it'll REALLY look sweet.
