Sorry, but as pretty and powerful as it is there's no way I'm paying $150,000 for it. For that kind of dough when I find out that they have a flawed crankshaft designs I expect a better solution than a new rear main seal and a freakin' speedi-sleeve. I'd be pretty upset about that kind of a ghetto fix on a $20,000 car let alone one the price of the GT...

How much is the F430 going for? I know its not as pretty as the GT but its unanimous its a far better car.

The reason the Gt is so hot is because it looks just like the GT40.
        Im now E30less.

Nice! I saw one the other day. I think they look a lot different in person that in pictures.

Nice to see some good quality pics of cars you've spotted too.

There are a lot of cars that out perform the Ford GT (new).. and under $150k. Radical, Ariel Atom, Nobels..

It would be nice to see the Corvettes having some competition if the above statement is true about the GT in ALMS.

You should know he purchased the car back too.

The alarm was fitted by the dealership (roush?), it was/is specifically for the GT as specified by head office (it's supplied by an aftermarket company, pretty much like every other car out there) for sale on their vehicles.

Its not aftermarket in the sense that he walked down the road and had some car audio place install it, it was done on a dealership level which is why they kept taking it back to repair (and why ford gave him the money back).
Just a little project im working on

Slightly different note, saw an Aston Martin Vanquish in town this morning. God damn, what a beautiful car.

There is an Aston/Lotus/Jaguar dealer across the street from my apartment.... so many HOT cars there, I nearly swerve off the road staring everytime I drive by.

Seriously. I can't wait to hear a Vantage in person, the sound from the Top Gear feature made me almost cream my pants.

There's a dealership near Portland that has an Aston Martin Vantage, a DB9, a Panoz Esperante, 2 Ford GT's, a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, 2 Lotus Elise's, and a shit ton of other exotic rides. We were in there almost all day.

                            Where do you work?

Why does everyone that cant afford a car such as the gt40 always say "nice but i wouldnt buy one....." Is there a need to put somebody elses purchase down? I never knew supercars had to make sence
