Why 5-lug over 4-lug......?

    Well, E30 M3 5-lug gives you much better front suspension geometry options. But most 5-lug swaps are mediocre.

    I looked at the cost of doing a proper 5-lug conversion and realized you can get practically any baller 4x100 wheel setup you want with that budget. Doesn't really make sense unless you're getting a hell of a deal on the parts.

    I drive it every day to work, but it does spend winters in hibernation. I guess my statement was pretty blanket, I would yield if it's a track/performance car that you're looking to 5-lug swap, adapters probably wouldn't be the way to go.
