    Sunstrip guise?

I have a wink mirror in my e30 and DAMN when the sun gets right around the mirror, i start driving with my hand covering my face lol. Does anyone on here cut sunstrips for e30's on here? Checking out on here before i go to a vinyl shop and see about getting one cut lol.

    What's a wink mirror?

I've thought about getting a broadway mirror to fill the gap between visors.

      wink mirrors are fuhgayz.

take that shit off your car and put your normal sun visors on.

or just buy some vinyl and do it yourself.....
unless your not confident in cutting vinyl once its applied to your windshield, which is like easy as hell.

and ive never heard of them called sunstrips, ive only heard of them referred to as a windshield banner or something of that nature.

Had a wink once. Think I was the first.... Now its screwed to a wall in the garage with hot wheels on it. Really though just put your visors back on & get a Broadway. Your passengers will appreciate it.

          This is a wink mirror:

If you're thinking of getting a strip to darken the mirror, make sure it's still easy enough to see in dusky conditions. Or just go for a more standard mirror.

I have a sunstrip on my E30, E36, and S10. They're done with tint though. (Limo)

yeah, I've had cars with winks.

Then I took them off, and was happier.

Talk to Lance and you can get an official Pro3 windshield banner!

How did you install it? Mine is just mounted to the plastic/vinyl piece above the windshield so I still have use of my sun visors. It gets kinda bouncy on uneven highways which causes the reflection to blur. I am debating taking it out but I would keep it if I could devise a better way to mount it and get less vibrations/shaking.

                pic for reference:

I'm honestly just curious about this: Is the argument for these just for increased visibility? I've eliminated my blind spots just using the three stock mirrors. I guess a mirror like this would allow you to see everything at once, but I didn't know if there were other incentives.

I also have a Wink mirror, been thinking about getting one made up for me. The sun is annoying being so tall it comes right into my eyes.

for driving I love winks. Viability is great. Personally have found much more confidence while driving in traffic.

^yea, honestly, I bought the car with nothing done to the car besides a wink mirror and ive never had a wink mirror in any of my cars because i use the visors a lot. However, visibility with the wink mirror is insane and ive gotten too used to it lol. I was just looking into getting a gloss white sunstrip or banner, thought someone here might be producing some on here lol

Does anyone have picture of how to mount a wink mirror on an e30?

I didn't know such a thing even existed. Probably only a few hours until I've convinced myself I need one.
