I just dont think a BMW should resort to cheap-o imitation tactics of high priced Italian stuff. My opinion. I think a BMW should be above that. Especially coming from a tuner like Schnitzer. I sound like an old man dont I? lol

Don't put BMW on a pedestal. They are here to make money and if they have a little Italian and German style mixed in and it looks bad ass then be thankful.

Oh trust me I learned that one with this last batch of cars. Thats why I dont really get irritated anymore. I had to realize that they do this to MAKE MONEY, not to cater to the whims of enthusiasts. :)

true. Nothings changed. I dont believe they made the E30 for enthusiasts, there was no way to know that itd be an "enthusiasts car" per se. It was and still is their bread and butter car. A young kid all idealistic about the marque hes fanatical about and growing up did change. :)

Bugatti, read VW, is losing money on each Veyron because they've put an insane amount of engineering into that thing. You can just look up to them as a enthusiast model. ;)

Yeah I know. Im not defending enthusiast models from a business standpoint because they ARE such a risk and appeal to only a niche market. Shit, theyd be stupid to build cars for the same people that drive deuces and E30s. Theres no way we would afford them first of all, and theres tons of us that given a choice, would stick to said 2002, or E30.
