I think those are the sexiest bimmers... E30 might be little boxy.. but have you ever seen another car like E30? even the '90ies centra doesn't look as appealing and perty as E30!

[Low Level E30]

e46 M3 - Fuck them. Fat, big, heavy, SMG is worthless

Having driven many laps in an E46 M3 w/ SMG on the Nurburgring, I must heartily disagree. SMG is exceptionally worthwhile for this kind of duty, and E46 M3's are incredible performers. I don't really enjoy SMG on the street, but on the 'Ring, it's absolutely exceptional. This experience is what sold me on E46 M3's, and why I bought one :D --- and the more I drive it, the more I love it. It is intoxicating. Such an involving car, w/ breathtaking ability.

For what it's worth, I do have some experience driving BMWs - I have driven almost every variant of E30 / E36 / E46 / E34, two E38s, an E31, a 2002 Touring, a Z1, a couple E28s (no M5, sadly), two E24s, and one Isetta very briefly.

I want to base my opinion on the idiocy of american consumerism and the prospect of thinking SMG is the best thing since sliced bread as you sit in stop and go traffic and creep along at 5mph with the biggest BANG shifts you can imagine.
