    Why not an E36 318i? You can pick a decent one up for 2,500

    I drove the Rabbit and the 525 today. Both are nice but the e34 feels much more solid. I know they're totally different cars so I expected that.

    I like the Rabbit but don't have 8k laying around and instead of having a car payment, I could buy the e34 and put some $$ into my e30s paint job.

    Tomorrow I'm driving the Subaru so we'll see how that goes

    i vote rabbit. 08 was first year of 170ish tq and hp. These were also some of the first and last rabbits made in germany. Also more reliable and cheaper to maintain that the other choices

    started a topic DD choice

    DD choice

    I bought a 93 Landcruiser for a daily over the summer and its been a cool truck to drive, it sucks to drive on windy back roads and narrow city streets. The Landcruiser is going to find a new home soon. I'm looking at the following for a dd;

    -95 525it, stock, auto

    -02 Imprezza Outback Sport (somehow I ended up with stock 05 STi suspension so that will be going on the OBS)

    -08 Rabbit, 5spd, airbags (they're going if I get it), ecu flash, new clutch and Techtonics exhaust

    I don't have a lot of time to fool around with a dd (another reason I'm selling the Landcruiser) and want something that is relatively get in and go. I know all cars need to be maintained but I don't want a project every damn week.
Working...
