    Help with TURBO BUILD!!!

So I'm trying to decide what to do about internals for my M20b25 for my turbo build. I have everything turbo and management all I need are pistons rods and such. I have had my eyes on the IE 2.9 Stroker kit that comes with crank, pistons, rods, bearings, rings etc for $2400 or is it better and less expensive to get piston rods, rings, etc separate? Please help because this Friday I make my final decision. looking to boost 20 psi using whodwho's MS2. HALPP!!!!!!!!!!

Search, no engine build is needed for 20 psi and good tune.

20 psi is my base tune. I plan to add more boost and ethanol as well. Looking for help here, not a pointed finger to a search bar.

I hate to tell you this but.

Forced induction should be the spot to look into as well as over at e30tech. Good stuff over there.

This ought to treat your needs right!

I would get the lowest miles M20B27 bottom end you can find, hopefully with proof that it didn't smoke or have any other issues.

O-ring the block and regasket everything.

Get an M20B25 head welded and slap it on with an OEM headgasket and ARP's.

                  Call it a day.

If you insist on doing more than this I'd probably get some custom pistons, OEM M5x rods in an appropriate length (to match pistons), ARP rod bolts, new main and crank bearings, turbo cam and stronger rockers.

For up to 400 whp I'd do the quick and dirty version, if you want much more than that I guess it's worth spending the money because although the stock stuff may hold for a while the weakest link will probably fail eventually.

I have ARP head bolts and MLS gasket just my motor has 220,xxx + miles since my odometer broke, god knows how long ago. That's why I thought my best bet would be to use forged pistons since I'm thinking about ethanol too
