PRO3 Crowns 2013 Champion

Congrats to PRO3 225 Cody Smith of Spokane, WA. who ecked out the championship by a single point over #95 Chuck Hurley. The season went down to the wire, with the final race in sloppy typical Pacific Northwest rain at The Ridge, a new track built near Olympia Washington.

February features 2nd Place Chuck Hurley along with 0 Jason Vein. Love the tribute paint jobs to Alpina and Blaupunkt. The left and right cars are different cars.

The Ridge Motorsport Park is located south of Seattle about 80 miles. A recently developed road racing facility, it is lots of fun to drive. Called "The Ridge" because most of the track is up on a ridge, then you drive off the ridge a la the Laguna Seca Corkscrew to hit the long main straight. At the end of the straight you wind back up the hill to run the twisty bits up on ridge.

114 Bruce Humberstone finished a solid 3rd in the championship. 319 Jim Cissell at ORP and 68 Fred Wright at a very wet last race at The Ridge in Shelton, WA.

I wouldn't call 2 points ahead of 4th a solid third place finish. ;D Especially after Olivier and I came into the ridge tied after closing a huge gap that Bruce had. 3rd place could have gone to any one of the three of us. :-/
