I'm boosting mine to 200 hp on stock internals. You can go 300 and over and I believe some have, but it's not a bolt on project.

Jake on this site is making the kit for me. I will link you to his thread when I get to my computer. It's basic but functional - and cheap!

The m10 can get like 1200hp boosted. I'm how it works, but it does.

He's probably trolling, but I'll bite. The only thing he could be referring to are the 4-cylinder Formula 1 engines BMW built. As far as I know, basically the only thing they had in common with the production M10 was the block.

I'm sure it can be done with any 1.8 L block on the market, just add cash and be prepare to replace it the same day.

Given that the engine makes an ideal 150ish stock, 250's probably a realistic 'I haven't changed anything else' maximum.

Corky Bell's book Turbocharging is still a good read, even if you don't do 1/10th of the
                      things he talks about.

                              or buy an M12 / M13 engine :)

One was rebuilt down here in Australia and is running in one of the Bennetons of the day.
