30GB iPod. I'll sell it in may, probably for $300.
iPod mini is a waste of money, IMO. $249 for 4GB of space, or $50 more for 15GB.
Either way, the iPod owns this market. Naysayers will say nay, but they're avoiding the fact.

Shit that is a lot of money.
I dont listen to moblie music outside of my car (which has a MP3CD player) so I just bought a $60 MP3CD player for long trips on planes and such. I just use the same CDs out of my car.
How big are the Ipods now? If they were small enough I might consider getting one, if the Mini is smaller than the regular and if battery problems (i hear about from people who talk about them nonstop) are solved they might be a pretty sweet deal.
Something the size of my cellphone would be something I would actualyl carry with me.Im now E30less.

I have the Creative Labs Jukebox 3 as well. About 20gb harddrive for I think I have seen them at $250 or less recently. Another option from Creative is the Zen, basically an Ipod but cheaper and just as good. The software is the only weak point, but you can download other stuff to use from RedChair I think.Comment

nothing beats the iPod in design, ease of use, ad quality. And now that its PC compatible there is no other portable Mp3 player on the market you should even consider buyingComment

10gb iPod! The hottest Mp3 player out there.. You can't get anything better. Trust me.
If you're looking for something small, get the iPod mini. Sure its only 4gb of space, but if your concerned about size, it's worth it. I pulled my 10gb iPod off ebay for a little over $200.
The battery really isnt a concern with the newer iPods because Apple has fixed that problem.

Like Ryan, I never listen to anything outside of my car and home.
That said, I have an MP3 CD player in the car too, but it also has a front 1/8" input. An iPod would be nice in there, as I could just transfer my entire MP3 collection onto it and plug it right in the front of the headunit. One day I'll pick one up.Comment

If I could get something TINY that had like 1GB that would be more than enough for me. I would just use it on planes or stuff. At school I just start conversations with random people or sleep when I am bored.Im now E30less.
