this is the engine used on the boeing 787 and the 747-800. that is one bad motherfucker!

some models of the GEnx produce around 73,000 lbs of thrust. the only engine that is bigger is the ge90. those produce around 100,000lbs of thrust. however the GEnx is fuel efficient as hell. a 787 is a approximately the same size as a 767-300, but burns slightly more fuel than a 737-800.

      top this!

Pratt &Whitney J58, no air breathing engine has gone faster or higher.

For all the people who weren't lucky enough to hear a pair of these on takeoff, it was something you felt and heard.

But then, these also have a wonderful sound at 3400 rpm @ 140 inches of manifold pressure...

Pratt & Whitney R4360. 27 cylinders 4360 cubic inches of displacement... Who's got torque?

            Oh, you wanted car engines...
I'm pretty partial to the Nissan U20 2L SOHC. 150 hp stock. This one makes more than that at the wheels.

I'm pretty impressed with a one of these as well, but I might be a little biased there.

I'd love to have an E28 M5 to go along with it.

Some really nice choices in here. Mine seem a little boring in comparison.

              Aluminium block M52B28.

GM LY7/LLT with some serious NA tuning. Would love to put one in an E30 with the 6 speed.

Ford Windsor 302, with aluminium heads/light weight mods, a lumpy cam and a carburettor or 8.
              2 sets of R1 carbs would be a beast on a 302.

A properly built N/A M20. Putting down 200rwhp+. This one puts down ~260rwkw with 14.5:1 compression and triple carbs.

A 300hp+ built N/A 2.3, or 2.5 Duratec. An engine that weighs 90kg, capable of making 300hp+. That's alright with me.

                  Wow, that's awesome.

How much does it weigh? Seeing as it's all aluminium it has to be fairly light?

If we're getting technical, the one with BMW covers is probably going in the 760Li, but yea, same engine.
