    Just ordered FK Springs

Well, as the title states, I just ordered some FK springs that will lower my car 60mm in the front and 40mm in the back. $149 at Supreme Power Parts. The front drop will probably require camber plates, but since the springs are inexpensive, I can apply the money I saved to get camber plates.

I haven't heard of too many people that have them, but I've heard nothing but good things about their quality. Ove Kiam, on bmwe30.net runs the same springs with bilstein sports and recommends them. He seems to know what he is talking about, so I hope it works well. I've got bilstein sports for the front. still looking for a deal on the rears. I'll let every one know what they feel like after the install.

I've never heard of them. Let us know what you think of them and post pictures

BMP carries the coilovers, but I've never heard anyone's firsthand experience on them either. Looking forward to hearing about it. If you start now, you should have something up by tomorrow.... ;)

Why would you need camber plates?

        I've got a 60/40mm drop as well...

I was under the impression that a 60mm drop in front may cause excessive tire wear due to the increased camber. I know it will also benefit performance, but how many of us really competitively track our cars and need the extra camber and how many of us are really good enough drivers to realize the difference? I know alot of you do, and I also plant to at some point. In the meantime, I'd like to make my tires last as long as possible. If excessive tire wear isn't an issue, then I'll gladly save my money. BTW, what suspension setup are you running, H&R cup?

I've got AP Sport springs from Germany. Its much lower than a Cup Kit...

The camber in the rear is still worse than the front. But I need all the camber for tire clearance so....

yea, the fronts dont change much when you lower. the rear is the main problem. especially if youre using wider than stock tires. take a look.

I use FK front wheel spacers. They are high quality and I would reccomend them to anyone...

I have 40mm all around now and I have to install my new 60/40 fk cupkit that is sitting in my living room. I hope they are as good as I've heard. How much extra did the lack of spring pads drop your car TJ?

Maybe 1/4 of an inch in the front, but like 3/4" in the rear.
