          I'm not sure we ever got 3.0 SHO's in Australia but how do they compare to a 3.0 Duratec? We have plenty of those.

            SHO engine had an iron block, Duratec has an aluminium block. Both had a 90mm bore. Duratec made a bit more power.

            Not totally sure though. Google might be able to tell you definitively.

              SHO was ALL about the topend bits. Those heads and intake setup, Yamaha designed. Something like an 8xxx+ RPM top end IIRC. On a factory based production V6.

                I was mistaken, the swap the guy had was a 2.3L(?) 4cyl turbo from the Mustangs.
