I drive all day in AZ, NOT holding a cup all day lol. Got this bad girl cheap and runs great as 19 year old girl in track ;) just needs the CSB swapped and Belt Tensioner replaced. Both ordered. Is it true that I need a press to swap the CSB? because I didn't on my E36 M3

M42 forever! Not everyone has to have an M20 to love an E30.

So i need to change the Center support bearing on this thing, I've changed it before on my E36's. According to this Pelican article http://www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/tech...ft_Bearing.htm, it's the same process. But my cousin (E30 owner) said he needed to use a Press to change his. Is this true?

I don't have a press at home so I need to be sure as I don't have much time off to work on EJodi. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated and awarded with an e-beer! :)

Nice. You definitely got this for a steal. I was strongly considering picking it up but the possibility of having to get shoulder surgery in the coming weeks kept me from adding another manual e30 to the collection. I've changed CSBs on an e30 without a press. Used a 3 jaw puller and some janky assortment of sockets but it did the trick.
