Honestly if i do buy it i am going to part it. Sell the axles, front and rear diffs, driveshaft engine, tranny and tcase and some other odds and ends and then scrap the rest for like 300-400 dollars. or maybe ill DD it. ill add some pics in a bit

Parting it out would be the worst thing that you could do. For 800 drive the crap out of it until the wheels fall off! which they wont but i would daily the car and if i had some spare money i would make it reliable overtime. Nowadays you dont find too many e30's for $800.

The seller must be a idiot.

just pull the fuel pump fuse or relay for a sense of security until you figure out what the issue is.

That's a clean start for a e30 project I wouldn't part it out at all. Put a lil money in it a sell it. If you do part it consider those headlights sold... to me...

If you do part it though let me know if the rear left window motor works, I've been looking for one for a little while now.

it would be a dickish move to part that one. if i see you selling ix parts in the for sale section, i'm gonna have to come up there and kick you in the ovaries! yes the interior is ghey, but 200.00 and 1 hr in a pick a part will fix that. if a parts car is the best you can see for it, you need to pass and let someone else buy it. these are rare as you know. its this money hungry selfishness that drives me crazy. go find a cheap manual trans "e" to rip apart.

iv'e owned several ix's and parted a few. i am now at a point where they have to be really bad to dismantle. if i see someone parting one that looks pretty good, i will never buy their parts. i know several others that are taking this point of view as well.

look at it this way: a couple hundred dollars and some time, that ix will probably be worth 2700.00 or so as a complete car.

if you part it, you will spend 6 months to a year trying to sell shit all over the country. you will be lucky to get 2000.00 or so dollars out of this automatic example and you will have shitloads of time and hassle invested.

weren't you trying to buy an ix locally a year or so ago?
