Really? I order pretty much everything from them and I always found it quite reasonable. Or on alot of order free depending what you get. Never once had a problem. Only downside for me is 4 day ship from California but that's to be expected.

Pretty much every online parts vendor is better than Pelican Parts. Open your minds. ;)

they have a nice site for browsing, but yeah.. expensive.

these guys and ECS. I don't get it. People just like a nice interface I guess - I used to overpay from Bavauto all the time because it was easy to order. Now I just fire an email off to our Dear Leader and the parts show up magically a few days later.

My favorite is when people post about some factory BMW part, that you can get from basically anywhere that resells factory BMW parts - "ohhh, but ECS has that part! and it's super rare...."

Use BMA for the big stuff like radiators, cams and control arms. I use The BMW Part Store for everything else. I found them to be the cheapest for small parts not carried by BMA. Oh, and BMA has rocket fast shipping by the way. Love them.

I like "The BMW Part Store" for all oem stuff. Best prices, shipping charges are reasonable and good customer service. If they have to wait for parts to arrive from Germany they will ship what they have in stock and ship the rest later at no extra cost. Haven't found a part they can't get yet.

I like the Pellican's web site and the free shipping charge on purchases over $75. Not all parts are shipped for free so you have to be careful. Their review of different manufacturers for the same part can be helpful and I like the tech articles they have posted, especially all the pictures they include.

                          My 2 cents

                              Pelican

I ordered about $400 of stuff sent to Vancouver BC and was tracking it on USPS when the next thing I know it was in Adelaide Aus. Called Pelican and they said they would deal with the post office. I said do what you want but make up a whole new order and ship it UPS at no extra charge, which to their credit they did.
